Ai Li Lim (Li) is a Senior Counsel at Dhillon Immigration Law, called to the Ontario bar in 2004 and transferred to British Columbia in 2011. She advises on a wide range of immigration matters, with particular focus on litigation, citizenship, inadmissibility, complex refusals, family sponsorship, and permanent residence, and has appeared before the Federal Court of Canada and the British Columbia Supreme Court. Prior to private practice, she spent 13 years working with international NGOs on refugee protection and human rights research around the world. Having immigrated from Malaysia herself, Li brings both professional expertise and personal understanding to her work, focusing on guiding clients through complex cases with clarity, empathy, and strong advocacy.
