FOUNDER & MANAGING DIRECTOR
Pavan Dhillon is the Founder and Managing Director of Dhillon Immigration Law, a boutique firm specializing in Canadian business immigration. Licensed in both British Columbia and New York, and as a foreign legal consultant in the State of Washington, Pavan brings over 18 years of experience advising global corporations, startups, and individuals on navigating the complexities of Canadian immigration law. With a practice focused exclusively on federal immigration matters, she is known for delivering strategic, compliance-driven solutions tailored to each client’s immediate needs and long-term goals.
Based in the United States, Pavan has developed a distinctive cross-border practice, helping companies expand into Canada and supporting individuals seeking to live, work, study, or build businesses there. She has an exceptional track record across a wide range of immigration pathways, including LMIAs, intra-company transfers, free-trade agreement work permits, Express Entry, Global Talent Stream, and complex inadmissibility matters. Her ability to advocate effectively, even in high-stakes and time-sensitive situations at ports of entry, has made her a trusted advisor to clients worldwide.
Prior to founding her firm, Pavan built and led the largest Canadian immigration practice in the United States at an international law firm. She is a frequent speaker at legal conferences across North America and has been featured in Bloomberg BNA, BBC, San Francisco Chronicle, and The Times of India. Her clients span industries including technology, biotech, engineering, entertainment, financial services, and higher education.
Having navigated the immigration process herself, Pavan brings a deeply personal understanding to her work. She combines legal excellence with empathy, innovation, and a client-first approach, guiding clients through complex immigration journeys with clarity, confidence, and care.
